Michael holds an Honors Award for Art Direction from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and a Gold Award from the Charleston International Film Festival. Although set design and art direction has been his major focus, his twenty-five year career has allowed him to assume the roles of writer, producer, director, assistant director, narrator and actor. His secret love is creating live-action mechanical special effects.
